Rebecca Fuentes Ruiz, 79, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 in Amarillo, Texas.Prayer Vigil was held at 6:30 pm - Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 pm - Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church , Dalhart, Texas with Father Scott L. Raef, Pastor officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.Rebecca Marie Lovato was born April 29, 1931 in Roy, NM to Enrique and Matilda (Cordova) Lovato. She was raised and attended school in Roy, NM and moved to Dalhart in 1952. Becky will be remembered by her beautiful smile, tender heart and love for everyone who knew her. She will be missed greatly by her family. She was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking and being with family.Survivors include her sister Phyllis Gurule of Albuquerque, NM, and daughters Vickie Haltom of Austin, TX, Katherine Fuentes of Amarillo, TX , Theresa Fuentes & Alice Samaniego of Dalhart, TX and one son: Joe Frank Fuentes, Jr. of San Angelo, TX - 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Joe Frank Fuentes, and 2 brothers Alfonso and Victor Lovato.
