Becki Rene Phillips, 50, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in Amarillo, TX.A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas.Becki Rene Phillips was born February 25, 1961 in Amarillo, TX to J C Phillips and Betty (Dane) Malone. She grew up in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1979. Becki then went to University of North Texas and Texas Womens University in Denton, TX. After struggling with Lupus for many years she finally retired from teaching. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her father: JC Phillips and his wife Carolyn of Dalhart, TX, her mother Betty Malone of Dalhart, TX, a brother Gary Phillips of Austin, TX and her grandmother Lois Mitchell of Waco, TX
