Bea Thompson died Saturday, July 9, 2005 in Louisville, ColoradoServices were held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at St. James Episcopal Church in Dalhart. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.Officiating was The Reverend Father Kenneth MacKenzie of St. James Episcopal Church Bea is survived by her twin sister, Bernice Anderson, of Dodge City; her son, Kent Thompson, and 2 grandchildren, Bryan Thompson and Lindsey Thompson, of Louisville, CO.She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis (1992), and her sister Dorothy Rose of Dodge City, KS. Bea was born on October 18th, 1919 in Hot Springs, Ark. but grew up in Montezuma, Kansas. She married Davis Thompson on October 25th, 1947 in Dodge City, KS and lived in Dalhart until 2002. Bea and Davis owned and operated the Dalhart Hardware until they retired in 1985.
