Eva Beatrice BEA Ortiz was born August 13, 1948 in Roy, New Mexico to Frutoso and Dora (Abeyta) Ortiz. She grew up in Roy and Springer and graduated from Springer High School in 1966. Bea went to Business School in Albuquerque, NM. In 1973 she moved to Dalhart, TX. She worked for the Dalhart Independent School System and The Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Bea was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She loved her pets and enjoyed painting and needle-point.Survivors include a brother Richard and his wife Elsie Ortiz of Springer, NM, a Niece and Nephew as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.She is preceded in death by her parents.
