Ava Jo Rammage Pollock was better known as "Nanny" to most of us. Nanny was a very loving and caring person. If you needed a friend, she was always there for you. Nanny enjoyed being playfully mean and we loved her that much more for it. Nanny would spare no chance for the opportunity to make you blush or try and embarrass you. Nanny had a playfully kind and sweet soul. She loved all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. Nanny was the crossword Queen of the south, she enjoyed spending quality time with her dear friends at the flower shop, Sharon and Jim Bob Matthews. Ava was more than a wife, a mom, a grandmother, or great grandmother, she was our coach in the corner and a strong backbone, was always hoping for the best for everyone. She was the true definition of a good friend, because listening was one of her greatest skills.
Ava is preceded in death by her husband "Sonny" Earl Franklin Pollock, her parents, Jim and Mariam Rammage, two brothers: Virgil Rammage and Jim Rammage, and sister, Betty Lynn Rammage Clark.
Ava Jo Rammage Pollock is survived by her three children: Jerry Don Pollock and wife Lorraine, Margeret Faye Pollock Figures and husband Ricky, Ola Lee Pollock Hancock and husband Garrett all of Dalhart, TX, 7 grandchildren: Kristy Martin and husband Justin of Holyrood, KS, Brittiny Pollock of Wichita, KS, Andrew Figures, Monica Culler ad husband Levi, Dawson, Leland and Remington Hancock all of Dalhart, TX, 9 great grandchildren: Ryder Figures, Victoria Reyna, Chandler Martin, Kloyee McEntire, Keyira McEntire, Dekan Cullers, Skarlette Cullers, Myles Cullers and Wade Cullers, her sister Haytchen Rammage Neumann of Albuquerque, NM and her loving friend, "Sir Charles" Kevin Gregory of Dalhart, TX.
