Augustus "Gus" Clayton Combs, 27, passed away April 14, 2019 in Dalhart, Texas. Funeral Services were held Friday, April 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at New Life in Dalhart, Texas with Richard Rodriguez officiating. ~ arrangements ~ Horizon Funeral Home. Augustus "Gus" Combs was born Sunday, January 19, 1992 to Sonny Combs and Amy Breeding in Dumas, Texas. Gus could light up a room with his contagious smile, he was gifted with the natural ability to bring laughter and joy to all those that spent time with him along with pulling his fair share of pranks. Gus loved playing softball in the summer and spending time riding horses. He loved his family and friends with all that he had, especially his nieces whom he thought the world of, and they loved their uncle Gus. He is loved by so many and we will hold tight to all the happy memories. Survivors include: His father, Sonny Combs of Pampa, Texas, his mother, Amy Breeding and step-father David Breeding of Tucson, Arizona, sister, Chelsie Buck of Dalhart, Texas and step-sister Shelby Breeding, grandparents, Les and Barbara Barber of Dalhart, Texas, nieces, Averie, Sophie and Emilie of Dalhart, Texas and many cousins.
