Audrey Lindsay Hunter, 31, died Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Dalhart, TX and burial did follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TX Funeral arrangements entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home.
Officiating was by Brian Walton, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas
Audrey Lindsay Navarrete, was born May 5, 1986 in Dumas, Texas to Eddie and Janie (Rueda) Navarrete. Audrey grew up in Stratford, and graduated from Stratford High School in 2004. In high school Audrey was a cheerleader and played in the high school band. Audrey attended South Plains College and was a licensed cosmetologist. She married Dylan Hunter on July 4, 2016 in Brownfield, TX. They moved to Dalhart in August of that same year. Audrey was a bank teller at First State Bank. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that were blessed to know her.
Survivors include her husband Dylan, 3 children- a daughter Shyloh Gueterslon of Plains, TX, 2 sons: Riley and Logan Gueterslon both of Plains, TX, a step-son Austin Hunter of Abilene, TX, her parents Eddie and Janie Navarrete of Dalhart, TX, a Brother and sister in law Michael and Sabra Navarrete of Amarillo, TX, a sister Christina Navarrete of Amarillo, TX, a niece Jaden Navarrete of Amarillo, TX, and her mother in law Denise Elsrod and father in law Damon Hunter
Audrey is preceded in death by both her grandmother Lilia Rueda and a cousin Jessica Flores.
