Raymond Arnold, 91, died Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Dalhart, Texas.Graveside Services were held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Jeff Taylor, pastor - Central United Methodist Church officiating.Arthur Raymond Arnold was born August 3, 1913 in Marmaduke, Arkansas to A.A. and Geda (Vowel) Arnold. Raised in Thayer, Missouri. Mr. Arnold married Lois McCuire on May 6, 1934 in Ozark, Missouri. They came to Dalhart in 1947 after Raymond spent 2 1/2 years in the southwest pacific during WWII. Over Fifty years as a member of the Central United Methodist Church, Rock Island Railroad Masonic Lodge, and Eastern Star. Raymond was employed by HWB Grocery for many years. Raymond and Lois enjoyed Dancing, Bridge and golf.Lois died in 2002.Mr. Arnold is survived by his brother Robert and his wife Betty Arnold of Purdy, Missouri, a Niece Linda Schumaker of Fort Worth, Texas, a sister in law - Dorothy Arnold of Monet, Missouri.
