Armando Salas, 56, died on Thursday, February 16 at his home in Dalhart, TXServices were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Rita Blanca Coliseum. Armando Salas was born July 7, 1955 in Ramirez, Mexico to Benito and Carolina. He married Maria Magdalena Delgado on January 18, 1975.He loved to play with his 16 grandchildren. He was a strong and hard working man. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone and depended only on himself. He loved his family and friends and touched many hearts. Armando will always be remembered by his friends and family.He is survived by his wife: Maria Salas Sons: Carlos Salas and wife Yolanda of Dalhart, TX. John Salas and wife Valerie of Dalhart, TX. Armando Salas Jr. of Dalhart, TX. Daughters: Sandra Altamirano and husband Antonio of Dalhart, TX and Marissa Salas of Dalhart TX. Sisters: Herculana Salas Ruizand her husband Jorge Ruiz, Irma Vasquez, Ernestia Bustos, Hortencia Salas. Brothers: Nicolas and wife Connie Salas, Benito Salas, Gonzalo Salas. Mother: Carolina Salas of Mexico.Preceded in death by his grandson, Xavier Salas, and his Father, Benito Salas.
