Anthony "Shorty" Oscar Peters, 39, took his last breath Thursday, September 1, 2022 with his family by his side. Shorty was born to Norman and Cynthia Peters on March 24, 1983 in Spearman, TX. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at First Christian Church of Dalhart with Pastor Barry Walker officiating. Shorty is preceded in death by his beloved Mother, Cindy Peters. Shorty is survived by two sons: Cory James and Cayden Lane, one daughter, Maliya Marie, his father Norm Peters all of Dalhart, TX, his friend and partner, Misty Bogart, two brothers: Jeff and wife Tonja of Tipton, IN and David "LD" Peters of Ft.
