Anna Ruppanner,76, died on Friday, March 31, 2006 in Midland, Texas.Services were held at 2:00 pm - Monday, April, 3rd, 2006 at the United Pentecostal Church, Dalhart, TX. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home.Officiant was Rev. Euell Watts, one of her former pastorsAnna Laura Stewart was born August 4, 1929 in Blackwell, OK to Edward and Laphenia (Roper) Stewart. Raised in Blackwell, Anna attended Southern Bible College in Milford, TX. She married Ray Ruppanner on September 11, 1949 in Dalhart, TX. Annas father started the United Pentecostal Church in Dalhart and she has remained an active member, teaching Sunday School, playing the Piano, & serving on numerous committees. Mrs. Ruppanner was a member of the Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary of the U.T.U., Dalhart PTA, and did volunteer tax return preparation for the AARP. Anna worked for an orthodontist before going to work for Thompson Wholesale, where she worked for many years. Survivors include her husband Ray Ruppanner of Amarillo, TX Sons: Jim & his wife Revice Ruppanner of Amarillo, TX and Donald and his wife Robin Ruppanner of Midland, TX Daughter: Kay Ruppanner and Chris Moeller of St. Kitts, Virgin Isles.
