Angelina Montano Jurado, 81, died May 9, 2017 in Dalhart, Texas. Prayer Vigil was held at 7:30 pm on Friday, May 12, 2017. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Dalhart, TX. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home in Dalhart, TX. Angelina Montano was born on May 9, 1936 in Mexico to Cruz Montano & Concepcion Jurado. In February 1956, she married Gabino Acosta Sr. Angelina enjoyed working in the fields, taking care of her family and was a very religious woman. She shared her strong faith with her children and others. Angelina liked baking pan dulce for her family. She was also remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Survivors include her daughters: Concha Acosta & husband Ricardo Roman, of Dalhart, TX, Emma Acosta & husband Juan Jose Rodriquez of Spearman, TX, Viviana Rodriguez & husband Juan Carlos Rodriguez of Denver, CO, Lupe Rodriguez & husband Jorge Luis Rodriguez, of Denver, CO. Sons: Jesus Manuel Acosta of Dalhart, TX, Benjamin Acosta of Syracuse, KS, Gabino Acosta of Hartley, TX, Heriberto Acosta & wife Carmen Acosta of Syracuse, KS, and also a brother Francisco Montano Jurado of Mexico. 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, other family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her Husband Gabino Acosta Sr., 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
