Amie Ferguson,73, died on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Burneyville, OK Funeral services were held at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.Officiating will be Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas and Leon Laney, Pastor, Spiritual Life Center, Dalhart, TXAmie Lea Ames was born May 12, 1940 in Paoli, Oklahoma to Clyde and Viola (Loman) Ames. Amie grew up in Dalhart and enjoyed painting, gardening and the western lifestyle. She married J.L. Ferguson on March 30, 1955 in Clayton, NM. Mr. Ferguson died in 1996. She is survived by 3 sons: Doyle Ferguson of Amarillo, TX, Barney Ferguson of Amarillo, TX and Roy Ferguson of Burneyville, OK. 1 daughter: Melinda Howell of Burneyville, OK. and 13 grandchildrenPreceded in death by: Parents, her husband J.L.
