Zavala, 52, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Dalhart, TX A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 10:00 am in The Family Room at Coon Memorial Nursing Home - with Mark McCormick officiating.Albert Joaquin Zavala was born December 17, 1953 in Staten Island, NY to Raymond & Carmen (Deleon) Zavala. He married Harriet Gatson on March 9, 1990 in Gatesville, TX they moved to Dalhart in March of 2004 Albert was a correctional officer for the TDCJ. Survivors include his wife Harriet Zavala of Dalhart, TX 2 Daughters: Tencia Zavala of Dalhart, TX Desiree Zavala of Tacoma, WA, his mother Carmen Zavala of Port Angeles, WA 3 sisters: Ruthie Mickey & Carmen Moody of Port Angeles, WA and Connie Martinez of Tucson, AZHe is preceded in death by a son Justin Rommel Zavala and his father Raymond Zavala
