Albert Max Fuentes Jr., a cherished father, son, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, in his hometown of Dalhart, Texas, at the age of 53. Born on February 23, 1971, in Dalhart, Albert's warm presence and infectious laughter became a staple throughout his community.
Albert's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his passion for his work. He spent many years as a beloved cook and assistant manager at local restaurants, where his friendly demeanor and loving nature made him a favorite among both colleagues and patrons. His work was not just a job but a means to spread joy through his culinary talents and engaging personality.
A man of many interests, Albert had a particular fondness for movies, especially superhero films, which mirrored his own heroic spirit in the way he lived his life and cared for those around him. He was the life of any gathering, often found barbecuing and sharing stories that would leave everyone in attendance smiling and laughing. His love for spending time with friends and family was unparalleled, and those moments became cherished memories for all who were fortunate enough to be part of them.
Albert is survived by his adoring daughter, Victoria Fuentes; his proud son, Samuel Fuentes; and his loving mother, Vicki Fuentes, brother Mark and Teena Fuentes of Pampa Texas, Sister Monica Williams of Amarillo Texas, Sister Lisa and John Kelsey of Argyle, Texas and Multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Fuentes Sr., with whom he now shares a heavenly reunion and both paternal and maternal grandparents, infant son Jason Andrew Fuentes.
Those who knew Albert will remember him as the epitome of friendliness, always ready with a joke to brighten someone's day. He was the embodiment of love, extending his kindness to all, and his legacy of laughter will resonate with his loved ones for years to come.
Albert's departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his spirit will continue to inspire laughter, love, and the courage to be the hero of one's own story. As we bid farewell to Albert Max Fuentes Jr., we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a man deeply loved. His light, though no longer with us in person, will forever guide us in spirit.
