Albert M. Fuentes Sr., 74, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Dalhart, Texas. A graveside service was held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ron Hein officiated. Albert was born Monday, June 3, 1946 to Cecelia (Perea) and Alfredo Fuentes in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 1964. Albert went on to become a business owner in Dalhart, Texas until his retirement. He was a member of the Dalhart Rita Blanca bowling league for many years. He loved bowling and spending time with his family and friends. Albert is survived by his wife Vicki Fuentes of Dalhart, TX, two sons; Mark Fuentes and wife Teena of Pampa, TX and Albert Fuentes Jr. of Dalhart, TX, a daughter, Monica Fuentes of Dalhart, TX, 9 grandchildren: Seth Fuentes, Alley Fuentes, Cy Fuentes, Victoria Fuentes, Samuel Fuentes, Daniel Williams, Noah Hernandez, Kayla Cox and Weston Cox, and a sister, Julia Quintana and husband Frank of Goodwell, OK. Albert is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo and Cecelia Fuentes, his brother Andy Fuentes and grandson Jason Andrew Fuentes.
