Adira Faith Loeppky went to meet her Creator on Friday, June 19, 2020 with her loving parents by her bedside as they prayed: "It is well with my soul". A Celebration of her sweet life was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Dalhart, Texas. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Ben Froese of the Dalhart Mennonite Evangelical Church officiated. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home. Adira was born on the same day as her very own mothers birthday, June 12, 2015, in Dalhart, TX. She had just celebrated her 5th birthday last week. Adira was the 4th of 6 children and was a happy and adventurous little girl. She loved to climb anything and everything, which kept her mama on her toes. Picking up food from Taco Bell was extra special for her because that meant she definitely had to put on her favorite taco shirt. But she also found plenty of other reasons to wear it. One of her favorite home-cooked meals was oatmeal! How many children do you know of who would enjoy, and even request, oatmeal?! Adira was one of them. She was cherished by her immediate family, extended family, and church family. She had a deep connection with her cousins and children, her age, from church. Others remember her for the bright smile that seemed to always beam from her little face. Adira was also dearly loved by our local fire department family, for which her father is a volunteer fire fighter. She had a unique and special friendship with a certain member of the fire department. They would greet each other with unique nicknames, whenever and wherever they met. He would call her "Monkey", and Adira would call him "Gorilla". We thank God for the blessing they have all been in our lives. Adira Faith is preceded in death by one uncle: Zachus Enns. She is survived by her parents: John & Helena Loeppky, 2 brothers: Jeremiah and baby Nathanael, 3 sisters: Carina, Lanette, and Odelia, her grandparents: John & Tina Loeppky and Isaak & Sara Enns, both of Seminole, TX., her Great Grandpa, both her Great Grandmas, 9 uncles, 4 aunts and 18 cousins. In the Hebrew language "Adira" means STRONG. During her short life, we as a family can truly say that Adira Faith lived up to her name. To God be the glory! We, the Loeppky and Enns families, want to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have prayed for us, supported us, served and helped us through this difficult time. May God richly bless you all. Celebration of Life First Baptist Church Dalhart Tuesday, June 23, 2020 2:00 PM 1000 E 16th. Dalhart, Texas 79022
