Womble Jr. was born on August 31, 1927 to Arthur J. and Ella (Clowers) Womble in Morse, Texas. raised in Morse he moved to Dalhart in 1946 and on March 7, 1949 he married Jean Williams in Clayton, NM. Mr. Womble farmed in the Dalhart area for years and was an accomplished pilot, and mechanic. His favorite past time was fishing. He will be remembered by his family as a great husband, father, and grandfatherSurvivors include his Wife: Jean Womble of Dalhart, Texas Sons: Allen Joe Womble, Gary Lee Womble, & Rick Womble all of Dalhart, Texas Daughters: Jan Prater of Dalhart, Texas and Sherry Truelock of Logan, NM.
