In Loving Memory of Westlynn Grace Zavala
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of sweet baby Westlynn Grace Zavala, who came into this world for only a brief moment on September 4, 2025, in Plainview, Texas. Though her time here was short, she was a precious gift of love and hope, forever treasured by her family.
A service honoring Westlynn will be held at 10 o’ clock in the morning on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Plainview First Assembly with Pastor Nelson Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 9 o’ clock in the morning until the service begins at the PFA. Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services was given the honor of being entrusted with Westlynn’s Homegoing Celebration.
Westlynn was the dearly loved daughter of Gina Zavala, whose arms and heart longed to hold her. She will always remain the little sister of Jacob Lee Griego and his wife, Kaylee Paige, who surrounded her with love before she ever arrived.
She is also cherished by her grandparents, Josephine “Momma Josie” Zavala of Plainview and Paul Hernandez of Mineral Wells, who will forever keep her memory close.
Her uncles, Joe Jess Rodriguez of Lubbock and Tobin Hernandez of Mineral Wells, and her aunts, Stacey Rogers and husband Luis of Plainview, and Kristin Rodriguez also of Plainview, join with countless cousins in remembering the joy she brought.
Though Westlynn never opened her eyes, her presence touched every heart around her. She was a light too beautiful for this world, and that light now shines from Heaven. Her family will carry her forever in their hearts, holding close her love that will never fade.
