Steve Hubbs 68 of Dalhart Tx passed away peacefully after courageously battling cancer on July 19,2026 in Amarillo Tx. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Dalhart Funeral Home of Dalhart, Texas.
His wishes to have no services and to be cremated.
Steve was born August 22,1957 in Wilmington Ca. to Roy B. Hubbs and Betty Ann Connelly. Steve took an early retirement from Raytheon in Santa Barbara Ca to move to Dalhart to care for his ailing dad. He enjoyed his membership with the Dalhart Cruzers Car Club. He loved his closeness with all the members especially close to the Howell families.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Connelly of Dalhart and son, Michael James Hubbs (Mirna) of Bonham Tx; daughter, Andrea Poland (Peter) of Cypress Tx; grandsons, Leo and Steven Hubbs.
He was preceded in death by his dad and sister, Debbie and brother, Michael Hubbs.
Steven's presence will be forever missed by all.
