Ruben nació el 27 de abril de 1969, en La Punta de Durango, México, de Amparo e Ismal Garcia. Ruben era un hombre de familia devoto, encontrando alegría en pasar tiempo con su esposa, Gloria Hernandez Perez, y su hija, Poleth Hernandez. Valoraba su papel como abuelo de cuatro nietos y bisabuelo de dos bisnietos, quienes trajeron una inmensa luz y felicidad a su vida.

A lo largo de su vida, Ruben disfrutó de una variedad de pasatiempos e intereses. Le gustaba ver televisión, explorar el aire libre montando en bicicleta, y lo más importante, atesoraba los momentos pasados con su familia y amigos. La calidez y generosidad de Ruben eran sentidas por todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerlo.

Rubén es precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Amparo e Ismal García.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Gloria; su hija, Poleth; sus hermanos, Pedro García y Javier García; y sus hermanas, Esperanza García y Sandra García.

Ruben Garcia, 56, of Dalhart, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Amarillo. Viewing will be from 1:00PM to 9:00PM Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Dalhart Funeral Home. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Ruben was born April 27, 1969, in La Punta De Durango, Mexico, to Amparo and Ismal Garcia. Ruben was a devoted family man, finding joy in spending time with his wife, Gloria Hernandez Perez, and their daughter, Poleth Hernandez. He cherished his role as a grandfather to four grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren, who brought immense light and happiness into his life.

Throughout his life, Ruben enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. He loved watching television, exploring the outdoors while riding bikes, and most importantly, he treasured moments spent with family and friends. Ruben’s warmth and generosity were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ruben is preceded in death by his parents, Amparo and Ismal Garcia.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; his daughter, Poleth; his brothers, Pedro Garcia and Javier Garcia; and his sisters, Esperanza Garcia and Sandra Garcia.
