Renee Mobley, 74, of Dalhart, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. A heartfelt celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Church in Dalhart, with Minister Darren Elliot of CCF Church in Vega, officiating. The compassionate team at Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements, ensuring Renee's final journey is handled with the utmost care and respect.

Born on January 17, 1951, in Dalhart, Texas, to Milton and Dorothy Childers, Renee embraced life with warmth and passion. She found joy in her role as a devoted housewife, cherishing the opportunity to care for her beloved husband and children. Renee's love extended to her furry companions, who held a special place in her heart.

A true enthusiast of country and western music, Renee's extraordinary memory for songs and artists was nothing short of remarkable. Her passion for music was matched only by her deep love for her children and grandchildren, who brought great happiness to her life. As a dedicated member of New Life Church for 33 years, Renee's faith was a fundamental part of her identity.

Renee’s legacy of love lives on through her surviving family members: her husband of 47 years, Phillip Mobley of the home, sons: Jerod Mobley and Phillip James Mobley both of Dalhart, and Bret Mobley with his wife Bridget, daughters: Vickey Mobley and Tonya Mobley of Hollidaysburg, PA, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, brother Jamie Patton, and sisters Tonya Martin and Lynda Bosco.
