Radley Wilkinson

August 21, 2002 — July 2, 2024

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of Radley Wilkinson, who transitioned to eternal peace on July 2, 2024. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service, presided over by his dear uncle, Kurtis Abla, is scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Lincoln Street Baptist Church. Burial of Radley's cremated remains will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been thoughtfully entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

In these moments of remembrance and reflection, we will honor Radley's remarkable life and bid farewell to a sweet, cherished soul who will forever remain in our hearts. We will also celebrate the time we were all lucky enough to have him in our lives and thank God for sharing Radley with us, even if it was only for a short period of time. The concept of time is not for our understanding, so let us all take a step back, a deep breath in and allow the peace of God to fully embrace us as we have this celebration.

Radley was a dedicated son, brother and friend, known for his willingness to help others and tender spirit. Rad was true to himself & loved everyone for who they are as they are. He was born on August 21, 2002, in Amarillo, TX and was raised in Dalhart by his beloved mother, Dana Wilkinson, brother Miles Mireles and his dear Granny Jane. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 2021 and cultivated a reputation for his calm unwavering kindness and willingness to assist others. He loved working at United Supermarkets and enjoyed all the people he met through sacking and carefully helping carry groceries out for them. He had several hobbies that brought him joy. Some of those being his involvement in the Golden Wolf band and coin and figurine collecting. He was talented in writing calligraphy and loved to share updates on his "Years" project; something he started working on many years ago. Radley was an enthusiast of numbers, anime, genealogy and was the family historian. Radley also had a natural gift for listening and comforting those around him. This was not just for family & friends but also extended to his fur babies as he became known as the family's cat whisperer. His love for music and admiration for "Five Nights at Freddy's," games and movie, brought brightness to his days.

Radley is survived by his mother: Dana Wilkinson; one brother: Miles Mireles, two aunts: Wendy Williams & Tracy Griffin, three uncles: Kurtis, Clay and Bert Abla, and endless cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Renee Mireles and grandparents, Granny Jane Perry Wilkinson and Dan Wilkinson.
