Michael Ezra Dubé

Michael Ezra Dubé, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, of Hartley, TX, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Amarillo, TX, at the age of 47. Born on May 17, 1978, in Waltham, MA, Michael’s journey through life was defined by his unwavering commitment to his family and his love for a good challenge. A Celebration of Life honoring Michael will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00PM in the Dalhart Funeral Home chapel with Brother Art Tollett, of Fritch, TX officiating. Services have been entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home.

Michael graduated from high school in Vermont, where he began to develop his passion for working with his hands. An industrious spirit, he embraced the mantra of “Jack of all trades, master of none,” showcasing a unique talent for tackling various tasks with creativity and determination. His friends and family admired his resourcefulness; there was no problem too big or small that he wouldn’t face with a gentle smile and a willingness to lend a hand.

As a self-employed individual, Michael thrived on solving challenges and providing for his loved ones. His kind-hearted nature extended beyond his family; he would consistently extend support to anyone in need. Michael’s thoughtfulness and empathy left a lasting imprint on the lives he touched, demonstrating that his heart was just as skilled as his hands.

In 2005, Michael was baptized and became a member of the Jehovah's Witness, a community that provided him with comfort and companionship. His faith played a significant role in his life, directing the kindness and generosity that he so freely shared with those around him.

Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Rachel Dubé of Hartley, TX; his loving daughter, Karol Dubé of Dalhart, TX; and his cherished grandson, Ezra. He also leaves behind his father, Joseph Leonard Dubé, and his mother, Carol (Davis) Dubé, who proudly watched their son grow into a compassionate man dedicated to his family. Michael is further mourned by his brothers: Preston Dubé of Dalhart, TX, and Daniel Dubé of VT, along with three nieces and one nephew, all of whom carry his memory in their hearts.

As we celebrate the life of Michael Ezra Dubé, we remember not only the challenges he joyfully conquered but also the countless moments of laughter and love he shared with those he held dear. Michael’s legacy of kindness, respect, and resilience will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
