Mary Lozano, a beloved homemaker, passed away on May 18, 2024 in Amarillo, TX. She was born Mary Zapata on April 21, 1963, in Carlsbad, NM to Antonio Zapata and Bessie Mata. Mary lived a life filled with love, compassion and joy. Her dedication to her family was unmatched, and she found immense happiness in spending time with her grandchildren. Known for her infectious laughter and kind heart, Mary's presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her.

One of Mary's simple joys was listening to Tejano music while meticulously cleaning the house on Saturday mornings. The smell of pinesol wafting through the air as she danced around the house brought a sense of warmth and comfort to those around her. Her baking skills were legendary, and no one could resist the delicious tamales she lovingly prepared for her loved ones. Nature held a special place in Mary's heart. She found peace in sitting outside, relaxing in the weather's beauty while watching birds flutter by. These serene moments brought her peace and tranquility amidst life's hustle and bustle.

Mary will be deeply missed by her children: Jennifer Aguirre of Brownwood and children Daniel and wife Maria, Nathaniel and wife Alex, Grace, Christian and Navaeh, Ashley Daffern and husband Matt of Dumas and their children Germain, Dominic, Tristan, Alyaha and Asher, Amanda Villanueva and husband Eddie of Sunray and their children Anahi, Itzel and Yari, Aurelio Lozano and wife Cindy of Pampa and their children Ivan and Leandro, and Adrian Lozano and wife Karla of Stratford and their children Baldomero and Ulysses; three siblings: Teresa Flowers, Tony Zapata and Steve Mata and wife Marlene; and three great grandchildren.

She is now reunited in heaven with her husband: Adolfo; mother: Bessie Mata, stepfather: Robert Mata and biological father: Antonio Zapata.

In honoring Mary's memory, let us cherish the moments shared with this remarkable woman whose spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

May she rest in eternal peace.
