Josie was born November 3, 1983 in Dumas, TX. She attended and graduated Dumas High School in Dumas, TX. During her years in high school, she enjoyed running cross country, track, and playing basketball.
Josie then met Johnny where they later moved in together and had their first daughter; Mia Munoz, eventually having their second daughter; Liana Munoz. Years later, Josie and Johnny got married by the court and recently had their marriage blessed by the church!
Josie had a gentle and kind-hearted soul. She was devoted to her children, guiding them to be strong, fearless, and independent woman. She was also very strong in her Catholic faith.
Josie was a stay-at-home mom up until her girls started Catholic School. She then began working at the Dalhart Intermediate School for two years until she decided to work as an aid for St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School for the remaining 11 years. She gained many work friends and grew fond of the children she worked with.
Josie enjoyed admiring sunsets, traveling with family, watching old black and white movies, spending time with her girls and watching them do what they loved! She also made sure to attend mass every Saturday and Sunday with her husband and girls. She was also very particular about the way things looked around the house.
