Harry Mackey, Jr., 69 of Dalhart, passed away on May 28, 2024. A Celebration of Life for Mr. Mackey will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Harry Mackey Jr., 69, of Dalhart, passed away on May 28th, 2024. He was born on May 30th, 1954 in Alaska to Harry Mackey Sr. and Madeline. Harry graduated from Chuglak High School in 1973. For 30 years, he was happily married to his late wife Beth, who passed away in 2021.

Harry enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family. He loved riding and fixing motorcycles in his spare time. He was a dedicated worker on his family's farm alongside his father, and he was a very talented masonry. Harry was known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Harry is survived by his daughter Nicole Vogel of Dalhart; grandchildren Corey Vogel and wife Kaitlyn of Roanoke, IL, Chantel Hege and husband Kameron of Roanoke, IL , Cameron Vogel and Claire Pyle and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dean Mackey and wife Denise of Alaska and nieces Megan Renart and husband Rob and Bridget Byson and husband Jon all of Alaska.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beth, and his son Scotty. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and selflessness that his loved ones will cherish.
