In Loving Memory of Gracie

2021 – 2025

Gracie, our fiercely loyal and endlessly loving four-year-old pup, left us far too soon on May 15, 2025, in a tragic accident caused by a careless semi-truck driver. Her sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of the Alvarez family and all who had the joy of knowing her.

Brought into our home in December of 2021, Gracie was only a few months old when she became part of our family but from the very beginning, she took on the role of protector. Whether it was watching over the other dogs, standing guard for the children, or keeping a gentle, watchful eye on our home, Gracie's instincts were strong, and her love even stronger.

In the past year, she found a new purpose when TJ, the youngest member of the Alvarez family, arrived. From the moment they met, Gracie went into full momma mode. She would follow him everywhere, laying beside him during naps, and often curling up to nap with him, as if her very presence could ensure his peace and safety. Their bond was immediate and beautiful, a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Gracie was more than a dog, she was family, a guardian, a constant source of comfort, and a joyful companion. Her bark, her presence, her love are just a few of the things we’re going to miss about you. It’s hard to imagine our days without her soft footsteps and loving eyes.

Gracie, we hope you know how deeply you were loved and how much you will be missed. Thank you for your protection, loyalty, and unwavering companionship. You were everything we didn’t know we needed, and everything we’ll never forget.

Rest peacefully, sweet girl. We'll carry your love with us always.
