Eugenio Davila Duron, 49 of Texline, TX, went to be with the Lord in heaven on May 7, 2026.

Eugenio was born on October 20, 1976, in Mexico to his loving parents, Alfonso Davila and Hermalinda Davila Duron. His spirit peacefully left this earth leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Services honoring the life of Eugenio have been entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Eugenio's family will welcome friends to gather, share stories, and honor the vibrant spirit of a man who deeply touched their lives on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 4-6:00pm at the Dalhart Funeral Home Chapel. Immediately following, a Celebration of Life Service will be led by Pastor Terrell Jones. In addition, Pastor Jones will lead another Celebration of Life Service at 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in the Textline High School Auditorium.

Eugenio was a devoted family man, inspiring those around him with his warmth and kindness. He is survived by his loving wife, Arcelia Davila; his children: Alfonso Amador Davila, Itzel Davila Whitney and Eugenio Jr Davila, his mother, Hermalinda Davila; his brother, Alfonso Davila; and his sisters, Angelica Davila, Martha Herrera, and Lillie Davila. Each of them will miss his infectious smile and the unwavering support he provided throughout their lives. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Davila.

As a trucker, Eugenio took great pride in his work. A man who enjoyed life to the fullest, his passion extended beyond his profession. He found joy in cooking out with family, cheering on the Texline Tornadoes, nurturing his garden, and tending to his beloved animals. He was also known for his skill at shooting and enjoyed sharing these moments with friends and family.

In remembering Eugenio Davila Duron, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and the cherished moments that will forever remain in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but joyfully remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Eugenio nació el 20 de octubre de 1976 en México, hijo de sus queridos padres, Alfonso Davila y Hermalinda Davila Duron. Su espíritu dejó esta tierra en paz, dejando atrás un legado de amor, alegría y recuerdos inolvidables. Los servicios en honor a la vida de Eugenio han sido confiados a Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
