Ernie Martens Groening

Ernie Martens Groening, 2 months and 11 days old, of Dalhart, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 17,2025. He was born on July 6, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas, to Jacob and Agatha Groening.

Ernie was a precious little boy and was so full of joy.

Ernie is survived by his loving parents, Jacob and Agatha Groening; his 3 sisters Justina, Agatha, and Esther Groening, and 2 brothers Jacob and Aaron Groening, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is in heaven being rocked in the arms of his grandmother Maria Eppe, grandmother Agatha Harder, and four cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Dalhart Mennonite Evangelical church,3598 FM 281, with pastor Ben Froese. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
