Craig Knight

Craig Knight, age 54, of Dalhart, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2025. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at First Baptist Church, with Brother Kurtis Abla officiating and Brother Douglas Flanery assisting. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Craig will lie in state from noon until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the funeral home. Immediately following, the family invites friends and loved ones to remain for a time of fellowship and remembrance until 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Craig Knight was born on December 5, 1970 in Aurora, Colorado, to James Harrison and Judy Kay (Meeks) Knight. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1989 and later attended Vernon Community College, where he earned his degree.

Craig honorably served his country in the United States Army and bravely fought in Operation Desert Storm. He married Stephanie Frazier, on July 18, 2020, in Dalhart, TX.

In 1995, Craig made Dalhart his home and became an active member of the community, including serving as an XIT Director. He enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends, working out, and listening to his favorite 80s music. Known for his playful sense of humor, Craig loved to tease and give people a hard time, always in good fun.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Knight.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie, of the home; his children: Austin Knight of Marysville, WA, Lexi Graham and husband Logan of Greeley, CO, Keagan Knight and Samantha of Marysville, WA, and Ashton Knight of Dalhart. He is also survived by his bonus children: Kaylee Hall and husband Kacey, Hali Ledbetter, Anzley Ledbetter all of Dalhart, and Gen Ledbetter of MA. Craig leaves behind his brothers: Cullen Knight and wife Christy, Justin Knight, and Joshua Knight, as well as one niece and two nephews.

Craig will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
